Being a part of VoiceCatcher has provided me with an amazing experience that I will forever be grateful for. In a world where we are constantly challenged with the negative connotation of “starving artist,” VoiceCatcher gave me the opportunity to counteract societal norms. It allowed me to be rich in love and support, as well as to gain experience in the art field.
Before VoiceCatcher, I was struggling to gain exposure as an artist and to find a community of people that had the passion and the enthusiasm that I had for art. I didn’t have the understanding on how to transition from being a student to an emerging fine artist. It’s an absolutely amazing feeling to have a sense of community and support from such a diverse group of people. Being a part of VoiceCatcher allows me constantly to be inspired by the wide range of artists and authors. At VoiceCatcher events, you are never short of the constant encouragement to succeed and carry on.
I can now confidently say I am a fine artist, and I wouldn’t have been able to do it without VoiceCatcher. Thank you, lovely ladies, for giving me this wonderful opportunity.
