Carolyn Hazel Drake is a self-taught artist from a long line of craftswomen. Her work references devotional and domestic objects, and features intricate surfaces and a raw, natural palette. In addition to her studio practice, she teaches workshops in the Pacific NW, and she is a longtime public educator in the arts.
