Roberta Aylward is an artist working in Portland, Oregon. Her work uses paper to configure personal narratives into observable forms. Her art is abstract in nature and aims to document the relatively unseen: emotion, sensation and memory. Her creative practice is driven by curiosity includes experimentation and a focus on process. She received her BFA from The College of Santa Fe in 1991 and her work has been included in exhibitions at the Tacoma Art Museum, Oregon College of Art and Craft, Umpqua Valley Arts Association and The Gretchen Schuette Art Gallery in Salem.
