Ellen Julia Brown is a textile designer, photographer, and maker living in Portland, Oregon. She is endlessly inspired by patterns and textures in the natural world, and is always on the lookout for unintentional works of art in everyday life. She translates found patterns onto fabric, sewing them into finished products like zipper pouches, scarves, pillows, and quilts. Ellen is part of a cooperative sewing studio called Klum House Workshop, where she makes product for her business and teaches workshops, including cyanotype printing and contemplative photography. www.ellenjuliabrown.com
