Poetry by Rachel Barton
tag store stash a tattered mantra
we stretch out the ocean’s creases
press toward sealine sunshot
stream inside a tree we pass
softening rocks beneath plaited rivers
we are the rush of creek waters
slipping traveling dying
we could say anything
we flow out of time and back
like the songs we know triggering
flares in our subtle bodies
we are the light of stars falling
